Keto Cauliflower Chowder

This low carb cauliflower soup is so tasty!


Simply add “chowder” to the end of any soup name and you know it’s going to be super rich and amazing! This recipe is no exception. Top it with cheddar cheese for the finishing touch.

This soup is so delicious, you would never guess how much nutrition is packed in there.

Cauliflower is high in vitamin C, fiber, folic acid and potassium. It provides more nutrition than it’s white appearance would have you believe.

If it weren’t for cauliflower I’m not sure that I could handle this low-carb thing. This simple vegetable seems to be the ideal replacement for rice, pasta, potatoes and even pizza crust!

To make this recipe even easier, I’ll bet you could use frozen cauliflower florets. You would probably just need a little less liquid to get the same result.

Low Carb Cauliflower Chowder (7 Easy Keto Soup Recipes)

This easy keto soup is sure to please! If you like bacon and cream cheese, this recipe is for you. {360 calories, 4 net carbs, 28g fat, 20g protein}

Servings: 5
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth (or veggie broth)
  • 1 head of cauliflower (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 pound cooked crumbled bacon (for topping)
  • salt & pepper to taste
  1. In a large pot, add the butter and onions and sauté until clear. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.

  2. Add the chicken broth, seasoning and cauliflower to the pot and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender.

  3. Carefully pour half or more of the mixture (along with the spinach) into a blender and pulse a few times until creamy. 

  4. Place back on the heat, and add the cream cheese and about a cup of water or more chicken broth, depending on your consistency preference.

  5. Simmer for 5-10 minutes or until the cream cheese is melted and blended nicely. 

  6. Top with crumbled bacon and enjoy! Feel free to add a little shredded cheddar cheese as well.
