How To Make Keto Pizza Crust in a Mini Waffle Maker

My mini waffle maker is probably the best investment I’ve ever made. I only paid $10 bucks for it at Target, and I use it several times a week to make chaffles of all sorts. It’s so much fun to experiment with! Once you have the basic chaffle ingredients down (almond flour, an egg and shredded cheese), you can flavor them to your liking, both sweet and savory depending on what you’re in the mood for.
Quick & Easy Mini Keto Pizzas
Step 1In a small bowl, mix together 1 egg, 1 heaping tbsp of almond flour, 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella, 1 tbsp grated parmesan, 1/8 tsp Italian seasoning, and 1/8 tsp of garlic powder until well blended.
Step 2Once your mini waffle maker is hot, place a little bit of cheese directly on the griddle and then pour HALF of your batter in. Sprinkle a little more cheese on top and close the lid. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until the automatic timer or light goes off; repeat for next waffle.
Step 3Once you’ve removed them from the waffle maker, let them rest for a few minutes before putting your toppings on so that the steam doesn’t make them soggy.
Step 4Once cooled, top the chaffles with a low carb pizza sauce, shredded cheese and the toppings of your choice. Place them on a baking sheet and bake in a 400 degree oven or toaster oven for 3-4 minutes. Turn the broiler on and cook for an additional few minutes or until he cheese starts to brown.

- 1 egg
- 1 heaping tbsp almond flour
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (plus more for topping)
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan
- 1/8 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- pizza toppings of your choice
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and turn on your mini waffle maker.
In a small bowl, whisk the egg together and then combine with the rest of the ingredients.
Once your mini waffle maker is hot, spinkle the griddle with a little shedded mozzarella.
Pour HALF of the batter in and then sprinkle with more cheese. Close the lid and cook until the automatic timer or light goes off; repeat for next waffle.
Place the chaffles on a baking sheet and allow them to cool for a few minutes (so that they don't get soggy), and then spread with a low carb pizza sauce, shredded cheese and the toppings of your choice.
Bake for 3-4 minutes and then an additional minute or two with the broiler on to brown the cheese.
Sprinkle with a little more Italian seasonig and enjoy!
