This Simple Cocktail is Perfect For Christmas or Thanksgiving Brunch

Whoever decided that Mimosas were a breakfast drink is probably my best friend. Sometimes I even like to make a mimosa without the juice. If you’re anything like me, then you are going to love this delicious way to sip on champagne over the holidays. Trust me, cranberry and orange are the perfect marriage for Christmas morning (topped with lots of champagne, that is).

A socially acceptable way to start partying at breakfast.

Looking for easy holiday drinks with alcohol for adults? This cranberry orange mimosa is perfect for Christmas or Thanksgiving brunch! Great for parties or family get-togethers. Try this drink on Christmas morning! So simple with just sparkling wine (champagne or presseco), plus cranberry and orange juice. #holidays #drinks #cocktails #christmas

I don’t know about you, but I’m always up for a cold alcoholic drink! Especially around the holidays when there’s a perfectly good excuse. The great thing about mimosas is that they are low in alcohol and very refreshing so you can sip on them all day long.

Sparkling wine pairs well with just about any juice, so feel free to experiment with what you have on hand. I also like to throw frozen fruit in there to keep my drink colder for longer. It’s also just really pretty! The fruit makes it feel like a real treat.

Easy Cranberry Orange Mimosa Recipe

This easy holiday cocktail is perfect for Christmas or Thanksgiving brunch! It's incredibly simple to make with sparkling wine, cranberry juice and a splash of orange juice.
Course: Drinks
Keyword: alcoholic, christmas, drinks, holidays, mimosa, thanksgiving

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces 100% cranberry juice
  • 1 ounce orange juice
  • 3 ounces champagne or prosecco

Instructions

  • Fill a champagne flute with the cranberry and orange juice, and then top with sparkling wine. Feel free to adjust the ratios to your own liking. Sometimes I like just a small splash of juice and mostly wine. Hehe.
  • Garnish with small orange slices and fresh or frozen cranberries (the frozen cranberries keep your drink colder for longer).

Notes

I prefer 100% cranberry juice because it's less sweet, but you can use the cranberry cocktail juice blend if you'd prefer.
