Easy Keto Cheddar Biscuits (Made with Almond Flour)

Looking for a copycat Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit recipe without the guilt? These low carb almond flour biscuits are TO DIE FOR! They're also quick and easy to make with simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium size bowl, mix everything together except for the cheese starting with your wet ingredients (if you don't have Old Bay seasoning on hand, add in an extra 1/4 tsp of salt).

  3. Fold 2/3 of the shredded cheddar in with the dough, setting aside 1/3 to add to the top of the biscuits later.

  4. Line your baking sheet with 12 blobs of dough and bake for 8 minutes in the center rack of your oven.

  5. Remove from the oven and evenly top each biscuit with the remaining shredded cheese; place them back in the oven for 3-5 minutes or until they start to turn golden brown.

  6. Enjoy! Place any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the microwave for 10-20 seconds.

Recipe Notes

If you don't have Old Bay seasoning on hand and don't want to purchase it just for this recipe, no worries! Just add in an extra 1/4 tsp of salt and any other seasoning of your choice like onion powder or Italian seasoning.
